New August timetable – return booking form by Wednesday 29th July

We are excited to now advertise the August Timetable for students returning to the studio for small group classes. As you can imagine this has taken hours to formulate and I hope there will be something for everyone to access.

Classes will go ahead for 4 weeks on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday  afternoons / evenings. Monday 3rd August – Friday 28th August inclusive. The timetable is on our website here.

In order to finalise the classes we will need your patience and support so that our priority, which is to make staff and pupils safe and well, goes ahead successfully when re-opening the school.

All students who wish to take part in their chosen classes will need to be booked in via our new booking form sent out by email. Due to a capped amount of students in each class and staggered arrival and departure times, we will need to know in advance exactly how many students will attend each class.
This may take a short amount of time for you and your children to sit down and work out which classes you can attend (working around holidays etc.).We welcome as many students as possible to join us for some classes throughout the Summer.

Any non-viable classes will not go ahead.

Fees
We are offering a discounted rate of £5pp for a 45 min class and £6pp for hourly classes.
All of the August classes booked will be invoiced directly to you for BACs payments.
All payments must be paid in full on receipt of invoice with the exception of Senior limbering which will be £5pp per class payable at each lesson in cash, in a named envelope.

Booking Form and deadline
The booking forms must be submitted back by Wednesday 29th July – this will then allow us to finalise classes ready to begin on Monday 3rd August. It will be extremely difficult to confirm classes if we have late submissions so please reply by the deadline. Any communication beyond this deadline will result in your child not being able to access the classes they wish to do.

What you need to do
Please read the instructions carefully for completing the booking form, shown at the top of the booking form.

There are two options for returning your completed booking forms. Either

  1. Print off, fill in, scan or photograph and email back to us

Or if you do not have a printer,

  1. Email us with student name, classes you wish to book and which weeks for each class e.g. Joe Bloggs, Junior B Ballet Monday at 4pm, weeks 1 and 3

Classes
We do anticipate there will be queries from parents regarding classes etc. so please get in touch if you are unsure.

All those students who were due to take Ballet exams on the 20th March will now move up to the next grade in ballet in September. For now the ballet classes are categorised by age and will focus on free choreography and the joy of the classical ballet technique in building strength, performance and artistry skills.

Modern and Tap classes will continue to be syllabus based in readiness for exams in September.

Risk Assessment and Attendance policies
We have spent a long time looking at ways to keep our staff and pupils continually safe for the foreseeable future and pupils will need to be vigilant when attending the studios.

Our risk assessment and attendance policies can be viewed for everyone to see and we regularly re-visit them to ensure that everyone who attends the studios are following the Covid-19 special measures.

We anticipate the rules and guidelines to be updated throughout the coming months so it is important to keep up to date with the requirements by checking the documents online.

Guidelines will be clearly displayed around the studios to remind students.

New Staff Members
We are excited and extremely pleased to announce and welcome our new teaching staff members to the Tozer Family.

Mrs Alison Soule who has had several years of experience in early years education will be co-ordinating our Junior Ballet classes. After successfully teaching a few lessons last term, Alison was very popular with the pre-school children and a real asset to the school. Alison has two talented children training in the school and was a Tozer trained student under the guidance of former Principal, Alison Willett.

Francesca Unitt will be joining us full time to assist with classes. Francesca was trained at Tozer Studios from the age of nine before furthering her training at the highly acclaimed Urdang Academy in London. (Full biography can be viewed on our website).

We are incredibly excited about welcoming our pupils back on the 3rd August
Until then stay safe and well.
