End of term info and updates

Saturday 7th December
This Saturday is officially our last day of term before all the festive activities start to begin.
We would like to invite parents to watch their children on Saturday morning to make the last day full of fun and Christmas cheer for everyone. We have decided on a theme of ‘Fairies and Elves’- if any of the students would like to dress up accordingly to mark the festive season that would be lovely. (If no Fairies or Elves available then anything Christmas related would also be great!!).

Tozer Hoodies
If parents have ordered a hoodie they will be here on Saturday for collection. If not already paid for, please could you bring payment.

  • Hoodie & name – £25
  • Name only on own hoodie – £5

Cash in named envelope, or cheque payable to ‘Blue Sky Clothing Ltd’.

Miss Rayner
After a difficult decision & due to increasing teaching commitments in London, Miss Rayner will be leaving us at the end of term.
Miss Rayner has been a long standing pupil and teacher at the school and given lots of joy to our pupils during her time at Tozer. I am sure you will join me in wishing her continued success for the future with her work in London.

Music Theatre Exam – Dress rehearsals
This weekend are the dress rehearsals for exams on the 15th December. The dress rehearsal schedule is up on the notice board and students have been alerted to it regularly. We are more than happy for parents or grandparents to sit in on their child’s rehearsal on Saturday or Sunday to support them. As this is a mock exam please bring everything you will need, props, costumes & completed programme notes. We will do our best to keep to the schedule, but please be patient if we run over, with it being dress rehearsals there maybe a few unplanned mishaps.
Brush up sessions will be on 9th/10th Dec (schedule will be available from Friday on the notice board) and any further rehearsals if needed will be arranged for the rest of the week.

‘Mary Poppins’ West End Theatre trip
There will be an organised trip next year to see ‘Mary Poppins’ at the Prince Edward Theatre, London – it is a spectacular show! If you are interested in coming to see it then please email your interest and number of potential tickets. I don’t to have a price for tickets yet until I have an approximate number of seats required. West End tickets for this popular show are not cheap, but I will do my best to secure a fair group price. It is a magical show and both my sons have fond memories of watching it as their first introduction to Musicals when they were very young.

Next Term
New term begins 6th January 2020.

May I take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy, healthy and safe Christmas & New Year!
