Tozer show 2019

As we get closer to the end of term I’d like to give out some information about the show. The planning for our show weekend 2019 is well under way and we are all looking forward to creating some more fantastic performances at the theatre. For some of our older students it will be their last Tozer Show so we want to make it a memorable one!

Important dates for your diary:
Spring term begins Monday 7th January 2019
Show weekend at Palace Theatre, Mansfield April 6th & 7th 2019
Dress rehearsal at the studio March 30th and 31st.

Spring Half term rehearsals:
No rehearsals Saturday 16th February – Tuesday 19th February
Rehearsals resume all day Wednesday 20th February – Saturday 23rd February (inclusive)
The rehearsal schedule for half term will be posted as soon as possible, please be available for the dates mentioned.

As with all our shows costumes are funded by parents and to help with spreading the cost and show commitment we require a deposit from each child which is non-refundable, then deducted from overall costume invoice. All other added expenses are met by the school (props, scenery, technical extras at the theatre).

Please can everyone pay their deposit by Friday 7th December so costumes can be bought during the Christmas break. This is important if we are to get the costumes shipped to us in time for ‘trying on’ in the New Year and then ready for the dress rehearsal.

Costume deposits are as follows:
Pre-school Ballet/Prep Modern and Tap will be in one show number so the deposit is £25
Two or more show numbers show deposit is £50
If your child participates in one subject at the school the deposit is £25

Please print off the form below and hand in with payment or details of Bacs transfer.

Everyone will need this form signed by a parent and handed back in order to be involved with the show. The consent information on the form will allow me to cover regulations set out by the theatre.

During the show rehearsals there will be lots of information posted on the notice boards at the studio in the waiting room, so it is very important you visit and read regularly. We have noticed of late that hand outs & emails are not always as efficient in transferring the information as we would like.

Chaperones

The show cannot go ahead without parent helpers and chaperones in the dressing rooms, if you can offer your help as a chaperone on the tech day (6th April) and the show day (7th April) that would be fantastic. Please email Julie Wilson and add your name to the list.

Any queries please ask…

All your help and patience is much appreciated.
